We took two teams up to the latest edition of the Youth Fastpitch League. Splitting our squad into two groups of 7, Warriors Red an Warriors Blue, we played games against the Cardiff Celts Jade and ourselves. It was good day and fun to play ourselves in a more official setup, rather than just the weekly training sessions.
It is a year since we first played as a team. 12 months ago we have 2 teams of 6 and playing in the a new competition. We played in basic T-shirts and simply called ourselves Maidenhead. 12 months on, we have name, Warriors, now play in a full kit and have hoodies and jackets. A year of hard work by everyone behind the scenes to make this possible and this is just the start.
My daughter (Sofia) played Softball very early October 2025 (we had just moved to London from the states). We’ve settled in and would like to rejoin the Maidenhead softball team.
