The 2025-26 WMSL Indoor Series is in the books, and after 3 events we finished 5th. This is an improvement over the previous series in which we finished 8th.
We started the series slowly back in October, finishing bottom of our league group with 6 points, we won the 9th/10th Play-off to finish 9th in the table. Come the Winter event in January we faired a lot better.
In total contrast to October, January saw us top out league group and secure a place in the Cup Semi-finals. Unfortunately we lost that game and then we also lost the 3rd/4th place play-off. Those results pushed us up to 6th overall.
This last weekend, we again secured a place in the Cup semi-final with a second place finish in the group phase. As with the Winter event, we couldn’t quite get over the line into the Cup final, however we win the 3rd/4th place playoff.
Those two results in January and March propelled us up from 9th at the turn of the year to 5th. It’s encouraging that we improved our finishing position every event and missed out on the top 4 by just 4 points.
With the Indoor season over, we now turn our focus to the 2026 Outdoor season.
