The RG Gents sealed the 2025-26 L.T.B.P Indoor Series on Sunday with dominate performances over the two events.
Unbeaten over the round-robin, only dropping two games through draws, they won both Cup competitions and beat the Bombers to the title by 10 points.
Going into Sunday, Maidenhead were the closet challengers, having matched RG in the first event and only losing in the Cup final. They needed a big day, but the third place Bombers came into the day bring their game. Maidenhead saw their chances of challenging RG go with 2 draws in the round-robin, and while they only lost one, that was to the Bombers, and that handed the initiative to them,
In surprising similarities to the C.W.S Series Finale, the team coming in second on the day faded away. Maidenhead eventually lost to What the Duck in the Plate Final after loosing to the Bombers again in the Cup semi-final.
The MK Diamonds played well, but they could not emulate their women’s team with a run to the Cup final as they lost out to What the Duck in the elimination game.
The series is over and is well and truly owned the by the RG Gents, congratulations to them. Now we look forward to the outdoor series, before the Gents get a chance to defend their Indoor title later this year.
