The 2025-26 Indoor series came to an exciting conclusion on February 22nd. Storm went into the finale on top of the standings, with RB Blueballers 1 and MK Diamonds close behind.
In an exciting round robin phase, MK and Blueballers 1 fought it out to see who could challenge Storm. While MK lost to Storm, Blueballers 1 managed a draw, which left the game between them as the key game of the day. MK triumphed to leapfrog into second position in both event table and series table.
MK needs a big day to win the series, and came close as they went on to win the cup and inflict a rare defeat on Storm.
In the battle of the Reading teams, the day started with Blueballers 1 beating Blueballers 2. That looked to be a go start in their pursuit of the series. A defeat to MK and draw against Storm put them into a semi-final back against MK. Blueballers 2 tied with Bombshells in both their game and the table, they won the head-to-head on runs conceeded to set up a semi-final versus Storm.
The semi-final and elimination game results setup up a plate final with the two Reading teams playing again. This time, Blueballers 2 triumphed to end the series as Plate winners.
This concludes the 2025-26 Series, with focus now looking towards the outdoor version. The Indoor Series will be back for 2026-27.
